Your information
A reference website.
A clear account of its data.
This notice covers Buildology’s public website and guide library. The project-management application has separate privacy information.
Who is responsible.
Logos Group Limited, trading as Buildology, is responsible for personal information used to operate this website and respond to its enquiries. Our registered office is 60 The Beacon, Stile Common Road, Huddersfield, HD4 6DE.
Contact support@buildology.co.uk for privacy enquiries. Account and project information in the application is covered by the application privacy notice.
When you visit.
The website serves articles, illustrations and information about Buildology. It has no account registration, payment, newsletter or message-submission form. We have not enabled advertising, visitor analytics or session-recording scripts on these public pages.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, times and errors to deliver and protect the website. Our basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure service.
Guide search runs in your browser. Search words and filters appear in the page address and may therefore appear in browser history, shared links or hosting logs when that address is requested. Please keep personal or confidential information out of search.
The public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If you previously used the Buildology app on this domain, its existing sign-in information or offline storage may still be present in your browser. Public guide pages do not read that stored project data.
When you contact us.
Contact links open your own email application. If you choose to send a message, we receive your email address, the message and any information you include. We use these to answer your enquiry, handle corrections and maintain relevant correspondence, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Please do not send passwords or confidential client records as guide feedback. We do not add you to a mailing list because you made an enquiry.
Service providers and retention.
Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. Vercel operates an international infrastructure; processing may take place outside the UK. Its data processing terms describe its transfer safeguards and subprocessors. External reference sites and the separate application have their own privacy arrangements.
Technical logs are retained according to the hosting service’s configured retention and security requirements. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter, maintain relevant business records or meet a legal obligation. The appropriate period depends on the purpose and circumstances; you can contact us about a particular record.
We do not sell enquiry information. We may need to disclose information where required by law or to deal with a legal claim.
Your rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or obtain a portable copy where that right applies. Contact us using the email address above; we may need to verify your identity.
You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. This website does not use your information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
